Having spent thirteen years teaching at colleges and universities, including my alma mater, the University of San Francisco, I am committed to life-long learning. Thus this page was born.

Additional workshops -

My favorite boatyard in the San Francisco Bay area is KKMI, Keefe, Kaplan Maritime, Inc. in Point Richmond, CA. My husband and I have attended informational seminars on Electrical Systems and Diesel Engines on boats. Their latest brainchild was Boatyard 101, designed to certify do-if-yourselfers who want to work on their own boats when they are hauled out at the boatyard.

For more information contact Erica Kaplan at Erica@KKMI.com

Speeches -

Valerie is a professional speaker and would enjoy coming to your yacht club or
organization to talk about her twelve plus years living on a yacht.  Her lively, laughter-
filled presentation can run from 30 to 60 minutes.

Please e-mail her at info@livingonayacht.com regarding scheduling and fees.
